Have this ready when you call

• The car's registration number.
• The date of first registration, from the registration certificate.
• The centre you want, and a couple of alternatives if dates are tight.
• A payment card: the €60 fee is paid when booking.

What is the NCT phone number for bookings?

01 413 5992, open Monday to Thursday 8am–8pm, Friday 8am–6pm. You can also book online at ncts.ie at any time.

Can I phone my local NCT centre?

Bookings, changes and cancellations for every centre are handled centrally, through ncts.ie or the booking line. The centre page on this site gives each centre's address and published test times.

Is there an NCT email address?

Yes: [email protected]. For anything urgent about an existing booking, phoning is faster.
